ABOUT LISA HOLTHOUSE

I have been creating art since 1979 when I was 12 years old, and I have dated canvases to prove it.  But it's only recently that I have found my true passion in art and here I embark on this new journey.

I worked  in oil, acrylic, charcoal, collage and other mediums throughout my lifetime, selling a few along the way.  But I recently found watercolor and I feel like I’m home. I find so much peace when the watered-down pigment strolls gently across the beautiful paper…not just peace, but pure joy when creating something meaningful.

Simultaneously, I have found much solace this past year in my spirituality. When I unexpectedly lost my beloved father, I drowned myself in prayer and scripture. Along the way, I truly believe that I was divinely inspired to use my gift of art coupled with inspirational quotes to give others the hope, encouragement, revelation or love they may seek. 

The combination of watercolor and scripture verses are now my passion. Thank you for your interest in joining my journey.
